Blood Pressure Monitors

Track your blood pressure without having to make visits to the doctor or the pharmacy with a blood pressure monitor. We offer several types of blood pressure cuffs to make it easier than ever to measure your blood pressure at home.

Blood Pressure Monitors

Manual vs. Electronic Blood Pressure Monitors

At truMedic®, our electronic blood pressures automatically take your measurements without the use of a manual pump. You'll typically find that traditional pump monitors are used in medical settings. However, for personal use, an electronic monitor is the preferred device. That's because the manual monitors are designed with health professionals in mind. For someone without proper training, it's easy to get an incorrect reading using a manual blood pressure monitor.

A truMedic® our electronic monitors are very easy to use. Simply strap on the blood pressure cuff and get started with the touch of a button. The cuff will inflate automatically, and you'll get an accurate reading quickly and efficiently. Instead of having to figure out your blood pressure reading from a detailed gauge, your reading will be clearly displayed on the screen along with your pulse rate.

By taking your own blood pressure at home, it's often easier to get a clearer picture of your health. For many people, being in a doctor's office can cause some anxiety or stress, which can elevate blood pressure above your normal rate. At home, you can measure your blood pressure when you're fully relaxed to get a more accurate reading.

Types of truMedic® At-Home Blood Pressure Monitors

There are two main options when it comes to selecting a truMedic® blood pressure monitor:

Wrist blood pressure monitor: This type of monitor features a built-in wrist cuff. It's important to keep your wrist at the same level as your heart when using a wrist monitor. This option is easier for people who have trouble attaching an upper arm monitor without assistance.

Upper arm blood pressure monitor: With this type of monitor, you'll place the built-in cuff around your upper arm instead. Some people find this easier since the cuff is already placed at the correct level and there's no need to raise their arm up while taking a measurement.

Both types of monitors feature large, clear screens that make it easy to see your blood pressure and pulse. In addition, all truMedic® blood pressure monitors have a "Live Voice" feature that will read back the measurement out loud. Your choice between the wrist or arm cuff style depends only on your personal preference and any recommendations you've received from your doctor.
